As we move into the festive holidays in the UK, colleagues at Morningside have been donating a range of food staples and seasonal treats to help those whose Christmas won’t be spent in the safety of their own home this year.

The kind donations from colleagues were made to Leicester charity Help The Homeless Leicester which specialises in helping people sleeping rough to gain the support they need to leave a life living on the streets behind.

Thank you to everyone at Morningside Pharmaceuticals Ltd who gave so generously.

Huge thanks to our Director of Quality Assurance Faith Daykin who will be retiring at the end of this year after 4 very successful years at Morningside.

Colleagues showed their appreciation during a live streamed socially distanced virtual presentation by our Chief Executive Tim Brady and Chief Operating Officer Monica Huang, where Monica said a few words about Faith’s remarkable contribution to the Morningside story.

Over this time Faith has been instrumental in creating our strong compliant and industry leading Quality Management System (QMS), as well as been an exceptional leader of the QA department and many projects that have delivered significant change for the better.

Morningside’s Chairman, Dr Nik Kotecha OBE, said: “Thank you so much Faith for all you have done for Morningside. We are in a much stronger place today due to your tenure as Quality Director. Enjoy the well deserved retirement.”

During the presentation Faith received a number of gifts and a very large card where colleagues got a chance to say a fond farewell to a much loved Morningside family member.
