East Midlands Airport has included Morningside Pharmaceuticals Ltd as a case study in an exclusive video designed to promote exporting from the region.
The video was shot by David James, a specialist in business and strategic communications and producer of the UK Export Advice podcast.
In the video Dr Nik Kotecha OBE, Morningside’s Chief Executive, talks about the company’s exporting successes and experiences, as well as the vital role the airport plays in the business’ supply chain.
The video was filmed to coincide with the airport’s announcement of record-breaking quantities of freight being handling in the year ending March 2018.
In the previous 12 months the airport, which is Britain’s busiest for dedicated freight handling, saw almost £10bn worth of non-EU goods pass through it.
In total 358,477 tonnes of cargo were exported or imported through the airport, which is 9.7% higher than the previous year.
