Lovely morning full of tea, coffee and cake at Morningside Pharmaceuticals to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.
As is the Morningside way, our colleagues went over and above to cook up some very delicious treats for others to enjoy, as part of Macmillan’s annual World Biggest Coffee Morning event.
A donation was made for each slice of cake sold, which was donated directly to the charity, which provides specialist health care, information and financial support to people affected by cancer. Macmillan also looks at the social, emotional and practical impact cancer can have, and campaigns for better cancer care.
The World’s Biggest Coffee Morning is Macmillan’s biggest fundraising event to support people living with cancer. Every year people all over the UK host their own Coffee Morning and donations raised on the day are made to the charity.
In 2020 the event raised over £10 million.
